Preteen Leader

Grades 4, 5, 6

ROLE

Provide leadership to our preteen students while supporting the vision, mission and core values of Cornerstone Church.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 5 hours a week
  • $500 a month/$6,000 a year
  • Lead Sunday morning for 4th – 6th grade
  • Plan monthly Sunday Fundays in afternoon
  • Active role in Summer Camps
  • Prepare and present Biblical curriculum in an engaging format
  • Organize Sunday preteen curriculum and supplies (Orange curriculum)

QUALIFICATIONS

Audio Engineer

The Audio Engineer is the primary resource on sound and production and our sound booth. This person ensures staffing and effectiveness in making our worship a good experience for those participating and leading worship as well as those listening in person or online. This person will also keep the sanctuary up to date with technology and equipment necessary for a quality sound for our congregation and online viewers.

Essential Functions:

  • 5 hours a week
  • $8,000 a year
  • Coordinate AV team on Sunday mornings (Audio, Video and Projection)
  • Serve as main audio engineer for worship
  • Secure proper AV equipment for worship services
  • Chancel AV Set-up and teardown (Rehearsals & Worship)
  • Serve as primary audio engineer for special events
  • Recruit and train volunteers for a fully staffed AV booth
  • Work with the Worship Director to develop a plan to maximize Planning Center usage
  • Keep tech items organized and easy to find

Time requirements: Sunday mornings (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) & Christmas Eve are required for this position. Other events may pop up from time to time and be compensated accordingly.

Audio Engineering experience required.

Experience with lighting and Pro Presentor a plus.
