Palm Sunday 2023

The first Palm Sunday’s events were recorded in all four Gospels. In Luke’s account, there is gladness, madness, and sadness. In the sadness, Jesus lamented that the city of Jerusalem did not recognize God’s coming to them. This morning, we looked at how we too can fail to recognize the work of God in our lives, even when it should be obvious to us.

Peter and John were ordinary and unschooled, but were courageous in their defense of their time with Jesus. May we follow the example of Peter and John and become the kind of people God uses.
