On Sunday we discussed Zechariah’s Benedictus – his song of thanksgiving, praise, and blessing over his son John the Baptist who would prepare the way for the Lord. We also learned about how God uses silence to help us connect more intimately with Him.

In Matthew 4:19 we examined Jesus’ call to evangelism. In Philippians 4:19 we celebrated God’s promise of provision. In 1 John 4:19 we remembered that we love because He first loved us.
The unknown and unsung heroes of the faith should be examples to us that it is more important to be well-known in heaven than well-known on earth.
